Apr. 10, 2017 | This past Saturday marked the 26th edition of the Annual BCS Stoker Arts Festival.
This year’s workshops ranged from cake decoration to watercolour portraits; from djembe drums to improv theatre; and from beading to plaster balloon sculptures. Visual Arts teacher Mr. Brandon has overseen organizing the popular activity-packed event for the past six years. He describes the festival as a way of promoting art to all students through different creative activities. The fact that local artists get involved to share their talents and garner some recognition is a very welcome bonus. The morning activities are always capped off with an afternoon of musical performances in the Quad. A big thank you to all the local artists and BCS staff for making this day possible each and every year!
