First paintings of the year!

Nov. 23, 2017 | Some Form VI students got their hands dirty this morning while beginning their first paintings of the year.

Paint and paint brushes were put to use earlier today as Mr. Brandon’s art class began its painting unit. The first project is a monochromatic painting, which, as Mr. Brandon explained, allows the artist to focus on the value and the illusion of three dimensions. Each student was tasked with first drawing a few sketches before starting their work, in order to practice the design they intend to create.
