Lunar New Year
Feb. 16, 2018 | Today marks the first day of the Chinese New Year, which is based on the Lunar calendar.
Our chapel was decorated for the occasion this morning, and students were allowed to wear a red piece of clothing with their uniform. Two of our students, Robert and Corey, put together a presentation about the meaning of the Chinese New Year and how their own families celebrate. The Dining Hall got in on the holiday, as well, preparing a special and yummy lunch for all.
新年快樂 and Happy Year of the Dog, everyone!
