Tailor-made tales

Mar. 1, 2018 | Our Form IV Langue d’enseignement et langue seconde students are visiting École Plein-Soleil to share some children’s stories they’ve been writing and illustrating over the past two months.

Back in January, students in Mme Mesnil and Mme Turcotte’s classes were paired off with students from École Plein-Soleil elementary school to gather information about the kids such as their favourite colours and the names of their friends. Using these details, the Form IV students were tasked with writing and illustrating an original fairy tale and recording themselves reading it. Today is the final stage of the project. Our students are going back to École Plein-Soleil to share their books with the kids. To see pictures of the project and read some of the stories, don’t forget to check out the bulletin board outside Mme Mesnil’s classroom in the coming weeks!
