Celebrating Women

Mar. 9, 2018 | In recognition of International Women’s Day yesterday, a surprise was organized for this morning’s Chapel service.

Following our regular morning announcements, all our female students and staff erupted into song with a rendition of Quiet by Milck. The flash mob started with our Glass girls singing the first few lines, at which point everyone joined in and congregated at the front to sing together. The performance was  framed by a speech from our Prefects Maïa and Ben, explaining the importance of gender equality and the Press for Progress movement.

Thank you everybody for participating in this morning’s assembly and for helping us send a strong message to our community!
