Printing in the next dimension

Mar. 15, 2018 | Our teachers are doing some learning of their own as we get ready to put the Fine Arts department’s new 3D printers to use.

Our own Andrew St-Amant and seasoned special effects artist Alain Rivard spent part of the afternoon today training BCS teachers and staff to use our fleet of Ultimaker 2+ printers. Andrew expects that students will be able to make use of our printers across many disciplines, from making physics models and robotic components to expressing their creativity through digital modeling. He hopes to have the printers ready for students to use as soon as we get back from March Break.
