Humboldt Strong

Apr. 11, 2018 | Two of our U18/Varsity Hockey team members spoke this morning in recognition of the tragedy that occurred in Humboldt, Saskatchewan last Friday evening.

Joshua and Olivier invited the school to join them in a moment of silence for the families and friends who lost their loved ones and for those still recovering in the hospital. The two BCS Bears are organizing a dress-down day tomorrow in their honour. Joining the nation-wide movement of solidarity, students are invited to wear their sports jerseys or dress in the Humboldt Broncos' team colours, yellow and green. While the GoFundMe page continues to surpass each monetary goal set and BCS donations will be gladly accepted, 'Dow' and 'Fuzz' wanted to do something a bit different with a personal touch as well. They have arranged for cards to be signed with messages of support for the Humboldt community and will send them off at the end of the week.

We will also be having a bake sale on Monday with proceeds donated to the Broncos. If you are not on campus and would like to donate in support of the families affected, please visit the GoFundMe page.
