It IS rocket science

Apr. 18, 2018 | Ms. Laberee’s Form III students were busy building rockets in the Robotics Lab during first period this morning.
In groups of two, the students were tasked with building bottle rockets by first drawing plans and technical diagrams that would inform their final rocket design. The students have been studying engineering, forces, and motion in class to help them with this project. Once construction is complete, the groups will participate in a friendly competition to determine which rocket design flies the highest and which design stays in the air the longest. The rockets will also be judged based on visual appeal.
Stay tuned for the results, the rockets will be taking flight next Tuesday!
