Mountain Day 2018

September 6, 2018 | Synonymous with school opening, today marked our annual school-wide hike up Mount Orford.

Following our first morning of classes, students proudly donned their house t-shirts for an afternoon hike. The clouds cleared and the sun offered a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Just a 30-minute drive away from campus, the Mount Orford National Park is one of many great hiking spots in the Eastern Townships that students will have the opportunity to discover in their time at BCS. Those signed up for the Adventure Training crease will be visiting Mount Sutton (and possibly Mount Megantic or Mount Pinnacle), and will even be back to Mount Orford later this fall for a two-night camping expedition.

Thanks to all our staff who supported the hike and congratulations to all our students on overcoming the first of many rewarding challenges you will face this year!
