38 years running

September 17, 2018 | BCS has participated in the Terry Fox Run every year since 1980 when Terry ran the original Marathon of Hope.

In a special tradition to celebrate the courage of Terry Fox and raise funds for cancer research, BCS hosted the 38th edition of the Terry Fox run on Sunday. Students and community members from around the Eastern Townships joined us behind the gymnasium yesterday to donate and register for the 1.5 km walk and the 4 and 8 km runs. In all, over 500 people took part in the run, raising a collective $5,000+. Over the past 20 years, we’ve raised more than $125,000 for the cause.

Thanks to the organizers and volunteers who made this event possible!
