September 21, 2018 | Our Form II classes spent three days at the Kenauk Institute this week, touring the grounds and participating in wilderness survival activities.
Following in the footsteps of our three Form VII students who visited Kenauk over the summer, the Form II group have started the school year in our favourite classroom: the great outdoors. The trip combined learning opportunities in biology and wilderness survival with time outside, in the hopes of inspiring among the students a curiosity for the environment. With a busy schedule that included guided hikes, team building activities, canoeing/kayaking, and many opportunities to experience local flora and fauna firsthand, there was never a dull moment!
We look forward to seeing how students apply their newfound scientific knowledge in the year to come!
