Emphasizing Advising

October 11, 2018 | As part of our evolving University Advising program, Form VI and VII students have been meeting with Mr. Barton, our Head of University Advising, over the past several weeks.
Building off the program established by Mr. Byrne, Mr. Barton has been meeting individually with all soon-to-be graduates to help them to make a fully informed choice of university. With only a few more interviews to go, he expects to begin meeting with Form V students soon, allowing them to investigate career-related interests and pad their applications well before university deadlines. In the future, he hopes to add programming such as career days, mock interviews, and more to fully prepare students for their professional lives after BCS.
Until then, Mr. Barton makes a point of reminding students that they can always find him with his door open, sipping coffee, ready to help them find answers to all their university-related questions. Though unlike Mr. Byrne, Mr. Barton only has one coffee mug in his collection.
