Cut it out!

October 25, 2018 | ’Tis the season for pumpkin carving!

Students in Mr. Brandon’s art classes have been sculpting squashes over the past two days. After an initial foray into carving using bars of soap, students transitioned to a seasonally appropriate medium this week. Their creations span the spectrum from traditional jack-o’-lanterns to mutant pigs to Cheshire pumpkins. Some students created intricate facial features in relief, while others stabbed their pumpkins with every tool in their arsenal.

Take a gander at their weird, wacky works of art on the stairs in the Quad!
