Remembering their sacrifice

Nov. 9, 2018 | Students, staff, parents, and community members gathered this morning to remember our fallen.

At 11 AM, our community gathered in St. Martin’s Chapel for the Annual Remembrance Day Ceremony. Our student choir opened the service with a touching rendition of In Flanders Fields. During the service, students recounted stories of former BCS and KHC students who served in the wars. We then commemorated the sacrifices made by BCS Old Boys in the World Wars and the Korean War in a longstanding tradition; reading the names of the fallen. As the names of former students and masters were read aloud, one member of our current community sat down. By the end, one-third of the attendees were seated.

Lest we forget.
