A silver screen for purple people

Jan. 10, 2019 | A new projector and motorized screen are being installed in chapel this week.

Our triweekly assemblies in chapel are one of the most important ways that we stay informed about life at BCS. Student presentations, motivating speeches, and birthday wishes are just a few of the ways we use the space to keep our community connected. Our current system has been reliably projecting for years but we're happy to be retiring it today. The new 15-foot screen and projector will hang permanently and discretely above the stage in St. Martin's chapel. This is only one of many campus improvements we've been carrying out over the past year, which include raising the School House ceiling, building our new residence, paving new tennis courts, and installing a turbo charger cooling system in Memorial Arena.
We look forward to putting the screen to good use next week when we announce this year's Carnival theme in chapel!
