Set in stone

Apr. 23, 2019 | It seems every corner of our campus is being embellished today!

Power tools were buzzing around School House this morning as our footpaths were swept and the balcony overlooking our main field was undergoing restoration. Throughout the day, crews worked to replace the stone pilasters that had deteriorated over decades of wind, snow, and the occasional stray frisbee. The repair work was orchestrated by Maçonnerie Gilles Goyette, who has completed much of the recent stonework around campus and will be laying bricks at Mitchell Family House in the coming weeks. This newly-restored balcony will add yet another beautiful vantage point for our community to enjoy BCS's expansive green spaces.

Now we can't wait for the true marker of spring: crease on the front field!
