Experts in development

May 8, 2019 | For the second year, Mr. McCormick’s students gave us a glimpse into developing nations across the globe.

Form VI Global Politics students took over the library during Period 2 to present their research in our second annual Global Development Symposium. Each of the eight groups chose a developing country to learn about and propose development opportunities that would allow it to grow. Mr. McCormick said he selected countries with which he was unfamiliar, hoping to learn about them through his students. "I was really impressed," he told us. "Their creativity never fails to blow me away!" Every team put their creative energy not only into their research and proposals, but into their ornately decorated posters as well.

Keep an eye out for more photos of each of our presenters on our Flickr page in the coming days!
