May 16, 2019 | The countdown is on as our Cadets prepare for the Annual Review next Friday!
Having completed their first full run-through of the event last week, our Cadets are out on the field again today, fine-tuning their display for next week's Annual Review. Today, they focussed on timing, posture, and keeping track of the many cues necessary to put on a synchronized display. As the event nears, afternoon crease will be replaced with practice sessions next week to allow the band, Flag Party, and each of the four companies to prepare for the performance. We are honoured to welcome back former BCS No. 2 Cadet Corps Commanding Officer, Major David J. Turner, as our Reviewing Officer for this year's event. During his nearly 30 years of service from 1975 to 2004, Major Turner was instrumental in developing the leadership-centric culture we now associate with the Cadet program at BCS.
We look forward to seeing you all at the event next Friday! Curious about the role of the program? Click here to learn more about Cadets and the many leadership opportunities available to our students.
