Walk the talk

Jun. 5, 2019 | Students are dressing down today to raise funds for Round Square projects!

BCS is proud to be a member of Round Square, an international organization dedicated to six educational ideals: International Understanding, Democracy, Environmental Stewardship, Adventure, Leadership, and Service. As part of our membership, we host many events throughout the year to promote these ideals in our community. Yesterday we held our annual Round Square walk, to spend time appreciating the outdoors together as a community. We also held one of our semi-annual International Food Bazaars featuring traditional dishes requested by our students from around the world. Today, the Round Square theme continued as we held a dress-down day with proceeds going toward purchasing building materials for the number of service projects around the world that we participate in.

Although we didn't hold our annual tree-planting yesterday as is typically tradition, our Round Square coordinator hopes to plant several this coming fall around our new Tennis Court Complex once the many construction projects around campus have been finalized.
