Spike in the sand

Jun. 12, 2019 | Students and staff are going head to head on the volleyball court!

Now in its third year, our annual staff vs. students volleyball game has become a springtime staple. Today, a rotating team of faculty and staff members joined forces for their chance at claiming the winning title from the two-time reigning student champions. Though the main prize is bragging rights, the winning team will also be awarded with a volleyball inscribed with the winners' names. The trophy ball has been adorning the prefect room for the past year and this afternoon's event determined its fate for the coming year. Our students put up some tough competition, handily winning the first round. Our staff's hopes were high as the teams were neck and neck throughout the second round, but some skillful serves secured the second game, and the tournament, for the students.

Congratulations to our student team–your win is well-deSERVED!
