Sep. 9, 2019 | Our students are back from an exciting weekend at Orientation Camp!
Our new and returning students spent their first weekend off-campus at the annual Orientation Camp in Val-Cartier, Quebec. A key part of introducing students to the Cadets program at BCS, the camp is an opportunity for students to get to know each other outside of the school environment. Among the activities on offer this year were rock climbing, a sinking tank simulation, rafting, flying in a glider, and many other sports and games. The full schedule of activities is almost entirely coordinated by our prefects and non-commissioned officers (NCOs), making the weekend one of this year's first opportunities to challenge themselves in this kind of leadership role. Our new students also challenged themselves, including Sheldon in Form II who made it to the top of the most difficult climbing wall.
Students are back on campus today as we begin our first full week of classes.
