Sep. 18, 2019 | Our new Tennis Court Complex is as purple as ever!
From the construction of Mitchell Family House to the renovations in the Head's Residence, last summer saw the completion of many projects that elevated our campus. Among these was the creation of a new readily-accessible Tennis Court Complex adjacent to our other athletic facilities. Over the first weeks of the 2019-20 year, the courts have been put to use with many of our students having the opportunity to practise their strokes during gym class. "We usually don't play tennis until the spring, but with these brand new courts we decided to introduce the sport early this year," commented Mr. Nadeau after a Form II Physical Education class. The Robert P. Bédard Tennis Court, made possible through the generosity of many community members including lead gifts from Daniel Lalonde, BCS’72, and Peter G. Smith, BCS’72, is set to be officially inaugurated at the end of the month on September 28, 2019, at 2:30 PM. This will be just one of the many exciting moments our community will be sharing that weekend as we celebrate Homecoming Weekend!
When you visit, be sure to enjoy our new parking lot as well, located just next to the Tennis Court Complex. With all these landmark initiatives taking place on Moulton Hill, the future is looking bright!
