In remembrance

Nov. 8, 2019 | Our community gathered in St. Martin's Chapel this morning for our Annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.

Students, staff and faculty, parents, and community members assembled this morning to remember and pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom and acknowledge the women and men who currently serve. During the service, our prefects read the stories of past KHC and BCS students E. A. G. Hanson, Jane Holt, R. Weir Davis, H. B. Price, and P. G. Holt. Then, in a longstanding tradition, we commemorated the sacrifices made by BCS Old Boys in the World Wars and the Korean War by reading the names of our fallen students and masters. As the names of those who lost their lives were read, one member of our community sat down. By the end, one-third of our attendees were seated.

Lest we forget.
