The torch be yours

Nov. 14, 2019 | While most Bears are away, two of our day students were out representing BCS in the Lennoxville community.

During Lennoxville's Remembrance Day Ceremony on Sunday, Head of School Mr. Mitchell snapped this photo of two of our students, Maeve, Form VII, and Emma, Form IV, who took part in the parade. Our students regularly attend the borough's ceremony with our Marching Band performing a selection of songs and students laying wreaths in remembrance of Canada's fallen soldiers. Although our representation at the event may not have been as abundant this year, these two local students took it upon themselves to maintain BCS' tradition of community involvement. We held our own Remembrance Day ceremony last week before students departed for the week.

Thanks for representing us, Maeve and Emma! We're proud to have such an involved community and are looking forward to welcoming that community back to campus on Monday and hearing all about their November Break.
