Dec. 16, 2019 | Our houses held holiday brunches across campus on Sunday.
With less than a week before our students depart for the Holiday Break, our Houseparents and residential life staff are celebrating the end of the year. In many of the houses this weekend, students enjoyed brunches and gift exchanges to mark their last weekend together of 2019. Glass House's Secret Santa activity saw gift-givers hiding small surprises for their chosen partners late last week, culminating in a full gift exchange by the Christmas tree over the weekend. Fuzzy socks and snug slippers were the gifts of choice as students stocked up for a cozy break. The girls took turns sitting on Santa Claus' lap (played by a beard-wearing Willa) and all enjoyed a delicious international breakfast at Buffet des Continents.
Our campus was host to many festivities over the weekend with our traditional holiday dinner and dance on Friday evening and our family holiday event for the younger members of our community
on Saturday afternoon. We hope the social weekend has students rested and invigorated for this week's exams and the last push before the break!
