Ten houses singing

Dec. 17, 2019 | This morning we belted our hearts out singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas."

On most mornings, the sounds emanating from St. Martin's Chapel are that of euphonious organ hymns and cheerful birthday songs. Not so this morning! Carrying on an annual tradition, Mr. Obermeir led our houses in a cacophonous rendition of a classic Christmas carol. Each house was assigned one of the 12 days and tasked with singing their lyrical line with all their might. It was a sight to behold and a sound to burst eardrums. The prefects even incorporated some motions into their singing of the line "five golden rings."
