In a league of their own

Jan 16, 2020 | Our annual students vs. staff basketball game drew crowds this afternoon.
Whether it's in the gym or on the volleyball court, we Bears love a good competition. Taking the place of our regular Thursday Cadets program, today's hotly awaited basketball game pitted a co-ed team of students against faculty and staff. Younger spectators filled the bleachers, giving students a definite home-court advantage. Besides the loser's pride, the main item on the line was the coveted 'Garfield trophy,' a stuffed reproduction of the beloved comic-book cat pegged to a plaque. The game was ongoing at press time, so be sure to check our Instagram story for the final score!
