Jan. 23, 2020 | Our outdoor adventurers are off to weather the wilderness this weekend!
Three days of excitement await our Winter Adventure Training crease as they departed for Mont Mégantic this morning. The group has been checking equipment, mastering the art of fire-making, and developing their outdoor survival skills since November. Ms. Vanier and Ms. Rowell held final preparations in the biology classroom yesterday before hitting the trails on snowshoes today. Seen here practising their cross-country ski techniques on campus earlier this month, the group of seven students will be leaving their heavy packs at their campsite tomorrow to explore the mountain on skis.
With mild daytime temperatures and a good amount of sunshine, the coaches are anticipating a much dryer weekend than last year, though we're sure these intrepid adventure-seekers are ready for anything!
