Together apart

Apr. 3, 2020 | Mr. McCormick held a virtual reunion with a few BCS alumni from the Class of 2019 yesterday afternoon.

Members of the 2018-19 Form VII Global Politics class hopped on a video-call to catch up, talk about their experiences as first-year university students, and reminisce about their time at BCS. "Given the unprecedented situation that we all find ourselves in, I wanted to send my encouragement to all of them and to make sure that they and their loved ones were well and healthy," Mr. McCormick expressed about the impetus for the call. This first cohort of the IB Global Politics class spent two years together as classmates so it was only natural that they became close. "It was so nice to reunite with everyone and see where everyone has ended up," Nadim Zard, BCS'19, shared. "Our class was together for two years so we had fun reminiscing about our inside jokes and Mr. McCormick's quotes. The call made us all really happy and it made us miss BCS even more!"

As we prepare for our virtual back to school on Monday, we're looking forward to seeing our BCS community again--even if it is only online! Have you hosted any BCS virtual reunions recently?
