September 28, 2020 | The Student Life Activities team—affectionately known as 'The A-Team'—organized a jam-packed weekend of events to celebrate the first week of school.

On Friday night our community enjoyed campfires in the Quad to wind down from the week. On Saturday evening the Quad was transformed into our very own movie theatre complete with a concession stand in the form of the 'POP Kettlecorn' food truck for the 'Movies Under the Stars' event. On the program were fan favourites "Big Hero 6" and "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle". If movies weren't their thing, students could head to the 'Bears' Café' in the Student Centre to play board games, ping pong, and foosball. To cap off the weekend, our D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) club met for a fun afternoon of fantasy role-playing on Sunday.
