Cheering on their countries

June 8, 2015 | Mini World Cup is not about winning, it's about spirit.

On Saturday, we hosted our annual soccer event at BCS. The only prize that is given out is for team spirit. Mr. Maxwell organizes this fun event, allowing students to come together to play and support their home teams. This time we had six: Asia, Europe and Middle East, Quebec, Canada East, Canada West, and Mexico. Teams go all out, with chants, costumes, props and even custom t-shirts. Quebec ended up beating Canada West in the finals 3-2, but the real winners will be announced tomorrow... to be continued.

Above you can see Emma, Form V, supporting Canada and Maria Fernanda, Form III, cheering for Mexico!
