Exploring the wilderness

Jan. 25, 2016 | Over the weekend, our Winter Adventure Training crease travelled to Mont Mégantic for a four day trip!

After only a few short weeks together, the Winter Adventure Training group, accompanied by Mr. Brandon and Ms. Rowell, journeyed into the wilderness to test out their new cross country skiing and snowshoeing skills. The 12 lucky students spent Thurday through Sunday exploring Mont-Mégantic National Park and experiencing the nomadic lifestyle. The group slept in prospector tents for the first two nights and then in a rustic cabin on their third night. A great time was had by all, and thankfully, nothing was lost to frostbites!
