Comfort zones

Mar. 1, 2016 | This morning in Chapel, Krystal and Georgia presented the differences between BCS and Gordonstoun school, which was founded by Kurt Hahn of Round Square.

While the two schools have many things in common, both Georgia, who is on an exchange at BCS from Gordonstoun, and Krystal, who has just returned from an exchange at the Round Square school, have had to push themselves outside of their comfort zones. The girls mentioned the differences in the size of the campus, the number of times they had to meet in Chapel or play sports, the food offered in the cafeteria and much more. But if there is one thing that Georgia wanted us to remember from this presentation, it is that you can't believe all the stereotypes - not all English people like to play cricket, and they definitely do not all have bad teeth! Look at her smile!
