Instilling independence

Apr. 5, 2016 | Form II and III students participated in an awareness workshop called "My Independence Matters to Me" this afternoon.

Ms. Lebleu from Montreal-based La Maison Jean Lapointe spoke to our younger students about the importance of making good decisions early on in life. Ms. Lebleu stressed this is especially important when it comes to controlled substances and the social pressure most teenagers face these days. Our students were reminded that they have control of their own lives and were given key advice and tools to help them navigate these pressures throughout their adolescence.

Thank you to Ms. Lebleu and La Maison Jean Lapointe for this informative presentation!
