After a rigorous month-long application process involving forms, videos, voting, and interviews, we are thrilled to introduce our new prefects for the 2024-25 school year.

This week, Mme Valérie Turcotte wrapped up an engaging project with her Form V Français, langue étrangère Bridge students.

Today, our Form VII students had the privilege of hearing from a distinguished speaker, Jared Fishman.

This past week, our school community came together to celebrate Round Square Week, a time dedicated to building connections, learning, and fostering community spirit.

Yesterday, our Tennis Team travelled to Montreal for an exciting tennis tournament at LCC.

Today, we proudly hosted the Fourth Annual BCS Student Research Symposium, a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our young scholars.

Our Form IV Français langue d’enseignement and V Français langue seconde students spent last Wednesday morning practicing their French skills at Escaparium.

Our community exercised their democratic right today, casting votes for the candidates they think will best represent BCS as our student leaders and prefects in the upcoming 2024-25 academic year.

During this Monday’s chapel, Abby A., Form V, and David W., Form IV, proudly received their Silver and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh pins.

Last weekend Mr. Kelso took his Form VI English class on the road for an unforgettable adventure!

Members of the PCC (Positive Change Committee) participated in the Phelps Helps 5K Fun Run in Stanstead this weekend.

We hosted our spring Open House today and welcomed families from around the area. 

Our Form II students travelled to Vision School today to experience Madagascar the Musical.

This morning in chapel, students entered to the sounds of Mongolian death metal group The Hu with songs such as “Yuve Yuve Yu” and ”Wolf Totem.”

Our Form IV students recently embarked on a cultural and historical field trip to Quebec City, aiming to practice their French skills while diving into the city's rich heritage.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. For the occasion, students stood together and sang “We Shall Overcome,” and our prefects followed this with a presentation on his life and legacy. 

Our Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding group took advantage of the beautiful sunny day to go practice on the slopes.

Form II students have been learning how the Egyptians made paper from papyrus plants.

Two members of our Elite Hockey Program, helped coach some hockey skills to the local kids during a hockey day camp. 

The new year kicked into full gear with the return of students in the classroom.

We couldn’t not mention Chapel in our 12 Days of BCS countdown, given that is is such a big part of everyone’s week!

Our annual Holiday Dance was held last Friday night in the Student Centre.

Form VII IB History students drew maps of the Great Lakes and the Indigenous tribes that surround them.

Mme Turcotte took a meaningful approach to essay writing by assigning her Form V French as a Foreign Language class the task of crafting heartfelt love letters.

Today marks Round Square Day, a global celebration observed by more than 200 Round Square schools worldwide.

M. Molière’s French as a Foreign Language classes solved an exciting campus-wide scavenger hunt today.

Mr. Tessier's Form II Ethics class conducted a mock trial as part of an evaluated group project yesterday morning.

Over the past weeks, Mr. Lafrance announced that he is holding brainstorming sessions with our students to get their opinions about what’s missing around campus and what improvements can be made to better their overall BCS experience.

This morning, Form V students completely transformed the Conference Room into Expo 67—the international exposition held in Montreal, Quebec in 1967 that brought Quebecois identity to a global stage.

Our 13 National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) delegates returned from New York City this past weekend.

The Sea the Home Club is taking over our Instagram and Facebook Stories next week on Tuesday, March 28.

Our students got a sneak peek into their future this week as they donned their graduation robes and posed with a diploma for the camera.

Yesterday afternoon marked the start of an exciting series of games between students and staff, with the first game being basketball.

We had the opportunity to try the delicious culinary creations from 14 different countries at the Round Square International Baazar this afternoon.

On Monday afternoon, Mr. Coughlin met with the Debating Club for an Ethics Bowl—a competitive event where students discuss cases dealing with moral issues and dilemmas.

Students who are serious about making art can sign up for Arts Consortium as a winter crease option.

Earlier this week during the pedagogical day, teachers were busy reflecting on and discussing best practices for assessing our students' competencies.

Mrs. McGie’s Form III Drama class had a blast making brown paper puppets and learning about puppeteering this morning.

Last week, students and staff signed up in teams of eight to play in the schoolwide Volleyball Tournament.

Our elves (aka Bears) have been busy enjoying festive activities around campus.

The Buildings & Grounds Crew works hard to maintain our beautiful campus every day, which includes the annual holiday decorating.
