Welcome to Glass House

Full of laughter, fun, and sisterhood.

"Leadership and involvement is key in Glass House. I encourage the girls to push their limits, try new things and test what they are made of. If you look at just about any committee, club, activity or team at BCS, you will likely see a Glass girl. With all that BCS has to offer, it makes getting involved easy." - Houseparent Julie Lowry

A little piece of history

Originally named Prep, the residence housed the younger boys that were preparing for high school. It became Glass House around 1972 when BCS merged with the girls’ school King’s Hall, Compton. C. L. Ogden Glass was a student from 1928-1932 and was Headmaster of BCS from 1950-1960.

What we like to do

We host birthday parties, movie nights and sleepovers. We love baking and cooking together. We also enjoy House dinners, hanging out in the common room, holiday brunch, a secret Santa exchange and Open House parties - where other Houses are invited to visit.

Bishop's College School is an independent English-language boarding and day school for grades 7 to 12 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
