Life Outside the Classroom

With a strong campus support system, varied activities, and a welcoming atmosphere, our student life program helps students thrive—growing and learning surrounded by caring and attentive role models.

Students at BCS live, learn, work, and play alongside internationally minded peers from nearby Canadian towns and faraway continents. Our diverse community of students from different parts of the world build strong connections with one another and add tremendous richness to the boarding experience.

Our community thrives on the energy that exudes from our beautiful sprawling 250-acre campus featuring a hockey arena, athletic fields, tennis courts, squash courts, gymnasium, weight training room, and a nearby equestrian facility. Our campus is also surrounded by hiking trails, biking trails, lakes, golf courses, and ski hills. Within walking distance of this rural setting features the city of Sherbrooke, where students can complete homework at local coffee shops, watch movies at a theatre, and go shopping with their friends at the mall with them. Students are able to find the comforts of home right here at BCS.

Each house is a well-balanced reflection of our diverse school community.  Parents take comfort in the complete care provided to their children by the adults on campus. Our faculty, staff, advisors, and houseparents provide personal and academic support, daily structure, and ensure a vibrant experience where our students’ life skills blossom within a safe, positive, and nurturing community.

BCS helped me discover myself by offering a wide range of activities and clubs to get involved in.

From Bigs & Littles to the Round Square International Conference, my days were really busy, but it helped shape the personality I have now.
