Dear families,

I hope you have been staying safe, keeping healthy, and remaining positive as our global community continues to move forward with optimism and strength amidst challenging times.

After careful thought and analysis, and in consultation with our senior administration team and the BCS Association Board of Directors, we have decided to cancel our 2021 Summer Camp. At BCS, the health, safety, and well-being of our community is always our top priority. We are confident that this is the responsible and right approach to ensure the safety of our campers and staff. While it is unfortunate that we will be unable to welcome our campers to our Moulton Hill campus this summer, we will be taking this opportunity to work on our programs to bring you an even better camp in summer 2022.

Registered families--please reach out to me directly by email for more information.

Adventure awaits at our four-week immersive summer camp

Have a passion for languages? Learn English or French as a second language during our month-long immersive ESL & FSL Language Camp for students aged 11 to 16.

Both the English as a Second Language and the French as a Second Language curricula offer instruction at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Each level includes oral and written work and offers a solid base for work in grammar and conversation. In general, the emphasis is placed on an improvement in spoken French and English but appropriate supplementary study is given to reading, writing, and comprehension skills.

ESL and FSL classes usually consist of 10 to 12 students. Classes are held six mornings and four evenings a week. Placement tests are administered at the beginning of camp and class tests are given on a regular basis. Reports are made to parents at the conclusion of the month.
I learned more in one month at the BCS Summer Language Camp than I did in a year at my regular school. - Elizabeth (Quebec, Canada)

Follow your passion, learn new skills, and make friends for a lifetime

Whether you opt for our ESL or FSL options, all our programs are carefully designed to optimize learning without skimping on the fun.

Academic Atmosphere

Courses are taught by a team of carefully selected, qualified, and enthusiastic teachers. Our small class sizes allow for more one-on-one attention, yet the groups are large enough to foster a healthy class spirit and encourage collaboration with one another. Field trips to local organizations are being planned to enhance classroom teachings.

Sports and Activities

When you aren’t in the classroom, there will be plenty of fun sports and activities to do with your new friends. Throughout the four weeks you’ll have the opportunity to participate in supervised team sports and activities in the evening. We offer soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, squash, basketball, flag football, and ultimate frisbee. And our off-campus activities include swimming, canoeing, laser tag, and bowling.
On Saturday evenings and Mondays, there are planned activities such as dances, water slides, trips to amusement parks, and more. Inter-house competitions, known as 'BCS Games' take place on Sunday afternoons.

Boarding Life

Our boarding residences are known as houses. We have eight different houses located on our campus and students are housed two per room. Our Summer Camp team takes great care in selecting the roommate you’ll be paired with during the four weeks. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet new friends, as both the ESL and FSL streams are divided into the different houses. Each house is equipped with a fully-stocked kitchen and common rooms—perfect for movie nights and hanging out with your friends!

The fees for our four-week programs cover instruction, board and accommodation for those boarding, teaching aids, as well as all trips and activities. The international fee covers medical insurance and transportation to and from the airport. You’ll also receive a camp t-shirt on the first day.
